Within the VALVENERGY series, this unit is particularly notable for tube compression that is distinctive of a vacuum tube amp. Equipped with Nutube for vacuum tube sound and response Acclaimed as revolutionary, the Nutube was collaboratively developed by KORG and Noritake Itron, and is at the heart of the VALVENERGY series. This gives the VALVENERGY series the same response, rich overtone structure, and sense of power as you expect from a vacuum tube amp. Analog circuit design with ample headroom The VALVENERGY series is made of all analog circuits with the 9V power supply voltage boosted to 15V internally. This allows for greater volume and headroom, and delivers an even more dynamic sound. It’s a circuit design that fully utilizes the potential of the VALVENERGY series. Three connection modes that you can switch according to your situation. You can switch modes as appropriate for the way in which you’re using the pedal. STANDARD: The pedal outputs an instrument-level signal. Connect to the input of your guitar amp in the same way as when using a conventional pedal. PREAMP: The pedal outputs a line-level signal. Connect to the return jack of your amp or to the input of your power amp to then use with a guitar cabinet. CAB-SIM: The pedal outputs a line-level signal with an analog cabinet simulator. Connect to your mixer or DAW for direct guitar tones. Equipped with a channel switching function You can chain two pedals together with a standard 1/8” stereo cable through the LINK jack of each pedal. This allows you to turn one pedal on while bypassing the other, using the system as if you were switching between channels of a guitar amp. Reliable, Low-Cost, Functional, Comfortable, What Else?

This is an amazing watch. I used the same watch for 15 years and in 2025 I bought it again after the older one was damaged due to some aggressive chemical.
I live in the East Coast of the US and I have friends and family in different parts of Europe. I regularly check the time over there. I use the timer for when I am brushing my teeth. I use the stopwatch when I brew coffee. I use the alarms for my daily short walks and to wake up.
I had to remove two sections of the strap to make it a good fit for my wrist. You may need to do that as well.
All around it is just an excellent watch. Casio is of course amazing with quality. I would recommend it to anyone. I know smart watches are getting more and more common but trust me, one less device to charge regularly is a better improvement in your life than anything else.

Good watch but misadvertised with wrong color
Color: Black, Style: AE-1000W-1AVDF
So far I really like this watch but you get a different watch color than pictured. The watch is the AE-1000W-1AVDF which shows silver/grey and black, with a blue world map. You don't get that as the 1AVDF model is an all black watch with a grey world map. The watch is just as nice but not what was shown and sold as, so BEWARE.

Great Watch For the Money
Color: Black/Black, Style: AE1000W-1BVCF
I have been purchasing Casio watch products for over 25 years now. Their watches are low cost and nicely designed. I was not let down when I received this watch and all for 18 dollars. The watch is nice looking, has mostly usable features which fulfills its purpose. For a watch that costs under 20 dollars this is a great knock-around piece that can be worn in any setting. Whether hiking/climbing in the woods, fixing the car, swimming or just plain rough housing with my kids, having a low cost and functional watch that fits all my needs really makes this product a great buy.
This Casio comes with several functions:
1) You can track up to 4 different time zones. Since I do a fair amount of business travel (about 1x a month), I am constantly in different time zones. Now I can set them easily.
2) The watch has a manual DST setting which I don't mind. It's literally a push of a button.
3) It is water resistant to 10 Bar. This means swimmers, surfers, etc... can use this watch with confidence.
4) It comes with a typical alarm. I always make sure I know how to turn this off, because you know somehow some 2 or 3 year old will get it and find a way to turn on the alarm so that it wakes you and 0200 in the morning.
5) Stop watch. Not much to say here. I use it for running/walking
Cons: A couple of oddball design features that are difficult to see.
1) The upper right hand circle is actually a visual of an analogue watch, so that if you look at another time zone besides the one that you set for your home city, you can get a quick view of the time. Not so easy to see.
2) The time zone characterization is also difficult to see and not so sure it is necessary, since the back of the directions lists out the cities you can use to select the proper time zones.
So this may not be a "smart" watch which seems to be very popular these days, but I will say the price makes it very worth while. If you need a knock-around that looks nice and has the core functions you need, I think you will be very satisfied with this product. You know... maybe some things don't need to be smart. Enjoy!
